A huge gladiator school has been discovered in Austria, by archaeologists working outside Vienna. Nearly as big as two Wal-Mart’s, the school is so complex and amazing that it rivals the training grounds outside Rome’s Colosseum. The archaeologists have found the remains of a wooden training dummy and the first known gladiators' cemetery on the grounds of a ludus. The entire thing occupies about 200,000 square feet, or 19,000 square meters. Wow.
