Stonehenge Archaeological Site

Stonehenge, England, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. For centuries upon centuries the mystery has remained. Who built it? What did it represent for them? How did they build it? Why?
Theory 1:
It is possible that the cavemen worshipped this monument as a place for the dead. Because the stone is considered a dead material, it is the place of the dead. Not two miles north of Stonehenge is Woodhenge, the place of the living because wood is living.
Theory 2:
It could also be a healing site. Chemicals in teeth and bones show that the patients came from all over Great Britain and Ireland to be treated.
Theory 3:
There is something very cool about Stonehenge, and that is the astronomical concept of it. Pointing toward the river is an avenue, and the summer solstice's sunrise lines up exactly with this avenue and goes right between two of the stones. On the winter solstice's sunset, it lines up on the opposite side, also between two stones.
